Precious Daughter

Precious.

A wee bit of heaven,

Drifted down from above.

A handful of happiness

A heart full of love.

*
The mystery of life,

So sacred and sweet.

The giver of joy,

So deep and complete.

*

Precious and priceless,

So loveable to.

The world's sweetest miracle,

That would be you.

Nana's Visit

We were excited to have Nana come see us during Jeff's globe trotting days. She was blessed with a free airline ticket which made it possible for her to come to CO and help me with the little ones.

Sadly though, the weather was on a cold and rainy streak and my Arizona loving mom had to resign herself to wearing scarfs and hats. Don't worry, we gave her a hard time about it. We went for a picnic in the 'Garden of the God's'. The tots loved running on the bridge.Nana sent her old keyboard to the kids in hopes that one of them becomes a prodigy. No pressure kids. And, we had some fun times at the park. And the YMCA poolA visit from Nana wouldn't be complete without a special home manicure! This time Nana got crazy and bought nail polish in Carissa's favorite color - purple! It was a wonderful visit from Nana. We created wonderful memories.

Thank you Nana. We love you THIIIIIIIIS much!

More than 52 hours

If you have been a follower of this blog since the beginning you might remember when my Aunt Melanie came to visit us for 52 Hours last year.

This year however it was more than 52 Hours AND it was a wonderful visit.

Aunt Melanie flew in to see me and the small ones while Jeff was out of the country for three weeks.

By the way, sorry for the blog hiatus but with Jeff's absence and many visitors in our home I haven't had a moment to sit down and up-date this here blog. That being said, I hope to play some catch up here this week!

Posted here are a few pictures of our time with Aunt Melanie. The weather was more rainy than usual in May but we tried to make the best of the sunny moments we did have.
Playing at our neighborhood park.
Enjoying a sunny day at the Broadmoore Resort.
Feeding the ducks and geese popcorn and running around the beautiful groundsThe highlight of the day was riding in the paddle boat!
During our paddle on the pond I propped each child between my legs so that they could push the pedals. When Carissa was pedaling her pants fell down and she was pedaling in her undies! Oblivious, I thought she was talking about her shoes but then she yelled, "Mom, my panties!" Our little petity can't keep anything up around her waist. As Caleb and Carissa would say "Aunt Melanie's the best!"

Thank you Aunt Melanie for coming to visit us.

We love you.
